Company News: Shamika Resources
Updated: 23 Aug 2010

Shamika Resources Inc. is in the business of mineral exploration and the development of natural resource properties on the African continent.

The Company’s strategy is to attract partners to invest and develop significant mineral exploration projects in what is probably the world mineral-richest country.

Shamika has already secured mining rights in the heart of the Kibara Belt in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The mineral exploration on these properties is focused on tin, tantalum, niobium (or columbium) and tungsten.

Shamika's challenges in the Democratic Republic of Congo are to ensure a positive contribution to local communities by reducing poverty, creating sustainable development and enhancing respect of human rights.
