The OABD will lobby the AU to ensure high-level commitment between all member states to obtain support and advance the OABD strategy, operation and modus operandi. The OABD will unite and serve inter Africa business trade and act as regulator on trade of its member states via codes of conduct and strict corporate governance.
Following on the great passion shown by the leadership of the AU and in specific the previous President of the AU. We need to rise as continent and face our challenges. Africa's rise as a united economic hope and partner must be dealt with by Africans. We hope that the establishment of the OABD will show the world that Africa can partake as an equal and that we are willing to rise to the challenge."
