Created seven years ago, MPX Energia S.A began its activities in the solar sector from the development of a thermoelectricity plant in the state of Ceará, in 2001. In partnership with the US company MDU Resources Group and with an investment of US$ 150 million, Termoceará, with generation capacity of 220 MW, powered by natural gas, it was built in the record time of 10 months. With this undertaking, the company demonstrated its capacity to implement projects with extremely competitive terms and costs.
