Nowadays, the company is composed of two principal units of operations: the San Rafael Mining Unit , which has the mining site -- the main tin producer in Peru --, and the concentrator plant where the crush of minerals takes place, as well as triturating, milling and concentration of the produced mineral. The smelting and refinery Plant in Pisco, comprises the most modern metallurgical plant in the country, a refinery that produces tin of the highest quality, and the plant of Sub-products which is in charge of processing the residual material with high content of tin.
