As an international mining company, the largest producer of iron ore pellets in North America, and a major supply of metallurgical coal to the global steelmaking industry, Cliffs has operations on three continents. Our North American business unit operates sixe iron ore mines in Michigan, Minnesota and Canada, and three coking coal mines in West Virginia and Alabama. Cliffs' Australian iron ore operation provides direct-shipping ores to Asian markets.
